Fin Loft Model assignment for Design Principles 1 in the Industrial Design Department at RISD. This project focused on using the fin loft modeling technique to explore form and structure while showcasing both the interior and exterior of a design. I chose to create a hammerhead shark to further investigate how to capture movement within a static form.
With Illustrator, I created the pattern of my fin loft model for laser cutting that can be easily assembled and has a tight fit.
